The Honeybee Experience is a fun and immersive hands-on adventure where you will discover the magic and inner-workings of the honeybee hive!
You will meet one of our experienced beekeepers at the Heritage Springs Farm store, and get outfitted in protective gear like a real beekeeper. You will then be driven out to our apiary where you will have an unforgettable experience!
In the apiary, you will get to see inside a hive, hold a frame of honeybees, see honeybees in all phases of development, learn how pollen is stored, and observe all the wonders of the hive. You may see honeybees carrying pollen into the, honeybees doing their “waggle dance” to communicate, and if you are lucky you may even spot the queen! Your experienced beekeeper is there to answer all of the questions you have.
The Honeybee Experience is intended to be a personal experience so groups are capped at 6 people. If you would like an exception to this number for a larger group, please contact us at Heritage Springs (315) 264-3471 and we will do our best to accommodate you.
